The Catholic Biblical Association of the Philippines (CBAP) invites its members to submit papers for its annual convention, scheduled from July 18 to 20, 2025 (Friday to Sunday) at the Mirador Jesuit Villa and Retreat House in Baguio City.
This year's convention theme, Hope in God’s Promises, aligns with both the Jubilee theme and the keynote address, which will examine Genesis 23 through the interpretations found in Genesis Rabbah and the works of John Chrysostom. The keynote speaker is Dr. Kris Sonek, OP, an Australian Dominican biblical scholar and Senior Lecturer at Catholic Theological College, University of Divinity. Dr. Sonek also serves as the Head of the Department of Biblical Studies at the college. (staff.divinity.edu.au)
