CBAP Concludes 27th Annual Convention: Biblical Scholarship in the Service of Peace
The Catholic Biblical Association of the Philippines (CBAP) recently concluded its 27th Annual Convention at the PBS Tower on United Nations Avenue, Manila. Around 60 members, invited guests, and observers participated in the three-day gathering. 27th CBAP Conference Papers
The Catholic Biblical Association of the Philippines (CBAP) gathers biblical scholars, theologians, teachers, and students of Scripture for its 27th Annual Convention, exploring how the Word of God speaks to a world marked by war, violence, injustice, suffering, and the longing for peace. This year's convention carries the theme, "Beat Swords into Plowshares, Be Peacemakers" (cf. Isaiah 2:4; Matthew 5:9), with the subtitle "The Word in a World at War." ............ MAJOR PAPE
